What we collect, and why.
Kachchani TV is a private app used only by members of the Kachchani family. Last updated 4 November 2026.
Signing in with Google
When a family member signs in with Google, we receive their name and email address from Google, only to check that they are on our family's list of allowed people. We don't receive their password, contacts, or any other Google data, and we don't post anything to their account.
What we store
- The list of YouTube videos and channels approved for our son, and who approved them.
- Public information about those videos from YouTube (titles, thumbnails, durations), refreshed at least every 30 days.
- Basic sign-in records kept by Cloudflare, our hosting provider.
What we don't do
- No advertising, tracking or analytics.
- No selling or sharing of any data with anyone.
- No accounts for anyone outside the family.
Services we use
Cloudflare hosts the app and handles sign-in. YouTube's API provides public video information, under the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. An AI service (through OpenRouter) reads public video titles and descriptions to check them against our family's rules; it receives no personal data.
Deleting your data
Ask us and we remove your email from the allowed list and delete what we hold about you.
